Nose Surgery

When I was job hunting, I used the excuse that facial impressions matter to some extent and looked into clinics to get rid of my hump and bulbous nose. Out of all the clinics, I kept seeing only reviews of TS's nose line procedures, so I booked a consultation haha. I had my consultation with Dr. Kim Gi-jae, and he said that a hump and bulbous nose are also a challenging case... T_T I already knew that, but hearing it directly still made me a little scared... T_T So he said that the shape of the nasal tip would need to be refined as well for the line to flow naturally, and he recommended supporting the tip securely with autologous rib cartilage. He also shaped the line while adjusting it with me, and because he examined everything so carefully without making it feel disconnected from the rest of my face, I felt like he would perform the surgery delicately too, so I decided to go ahead with it haha. As for the result, I think it would have turned out 100% badly if I had been greedy, but the doctor controlled it well, and it came out as a very pretty straight-natural line hahaha. They say everyone has a shape that suits them, and I think I've finally found mine!! If you're stressed about your nose, go find your natural-born nose at ***~!!!

Since it was my first nose surgery, I had so many concerns, and people around me kept saying that you really need to get nose surgery done somewhere that’s truly skilled. So for about a month, I thoroughly researched online and visited a total of four places for consultations! I had always been self-conscious about my bulbous nose, so I decided on surgery thinking I would just make a slight correction to that. As I listened to the doctor’s explanation, I found myself wanting more height in my nasal bridge, so I ended up having that done as well! Haha As you can probably tell from the photos, the line from my nasal bridge to the tip is so beautiful. These days, I hear all the time that my side profile and overall vibe have completely changed, haha. I highly recommend Dr. Kim Ki-jae at TS to anyone who, like me, is considering nose surgery for the first time or feels anxious because it is their first surgery! ><!!

My nasal bridge was on the low side, and I also had a bulbous nose, so I used to put a lot of effort into contouring my nose whenever I did my makeup, but that was exhausting too... Then a friend happened to get rhinoplasty, and her nose shape was so pretty that I asked where she had it done. She said she had it done by Dr. Lee Seung-chan at TS, so I was referred and went in for a consultation too! The doctor first examined the condition of my nose carefully and also listened to what I wanted. In particular, because he clearly explained what was and was not possible, I think it actually made the decision much easier. It did not feel like he would just do whatever I wanted; it felt like he was helping me find a method that suited my nose. Haha. I was recommended to correct my bulbous nose while raising my low bridge only slightly rather than making it too high, for a natural straight-to-slightly-curved line. Although it was my first surgery, after consulting with the doctor, I decided on autologous rib cartilage. After the surgery, my previously low bridge was raised naturally just a little, and the bulbous look of my nose was also refined a lot. In particular, the tip was shaped the way I wanted, so overall my nose looks much cleaner! I used to spend so much time contouring my nose when doing my makeup, but these days it is so convenient because I can do it roughly. I never knew that changing just my nose would even reduce the time I spend doing my makeup. Hahaha. I could understand why my friend recommended Dr. Lee Seung-chan even during the consultation, but as time has passed after the surgery and I have seen my nose shape settle in more naturally, I think I understand it even more. I went because I was referred, but I am satisfied with the result too, so if I have friends around me who are considering rhinoplasty, I think I would recommend that they go for a consultation. Haha.

At first, I thought my nose was ordinary like everyone else’s, but when viewed from the side, I didn’t like how it protruded in a bump. It felt like it was detracting from my overall impression... Since I was going to have it done anyway, I wanted to have a pretty nose on the first try, so I looked into it and ended up going for a consultation because TS was mentioned the most. When I told them the look I wanted, they didn’t immediately decide on a line for me. Instead, they looked with me at what kind of impression I would have if my nose changed on my face. They also considered how satisfied I would be, so I felt respected T_T First of all, they said that when looking at my nose from various angles, the overall shape would look better if the hump was removed and the tip was raised as well. They explained the surgical direction at a level I could understand, so everything was really easy to follow!! As for the material, I was debating whether to use autologous rib cartilage because of scarring, but after looking at reviews from people who had the surgery, the scar was smaller than I expected, so I decided to follow the doctor’s recommendation. The surgery was seriously an amazing, huge success... It’s a straight-natural line, but not overdone, and it came out exactly like the look I wanted, so for a week I kept looking in the mirror to make sure it was really my nose haha. I was anxious because I heard that many people get revision rhinoplasty, but once I saw the result, all my worries disappeared, and I think it was a great decision to get my nose surgery at TS hehe.

It has already been three months since my surgery, so I’m leaving a review. Time really seems to fly. When I first came out of surgery, I was relieved because my nose was much less swollen than I expected, but my bruising tended to last a little longer. At first, I was slightly worried about the bruising and kept waiting for it to go away. As one and two months passed, all the bruising cleared up nicely, and as the residual swelling went down, the line of my nose became really natural. Before surgery, I was dissatisfied with the tip and height of my nose, so my overall impression looked a little plain. Now that the height of my nose has clearly settled in, the dimension of my face looks completely different. What I like most is that my features overall look more defined and refined. These days, people around me say that I look much more sophisticated and ask where I had it done, which makes me feel proud. I’m really satisfied that it has been raised naturally, without looking artificial, as though it had always been my original nose. I’m grateful to Dr. Lee Seung-chan for understanding what I wanted during the consultation and creating a line that is pretty without being overdone. To celebrate leaving my job this time, I got a nose job~!! A long time ago, I got kicked in the face by my younger sibling while we were fighting, so I lived with a crooked nose.. T_T Since I ended up leaving my job this time, I finally got the surgery I had kept putting off. I specifically chose Director Kim Gi-jae for my consultation after reading reviews, and I had told him that I would be satisfied if he just corrected my crooked nasal bridge. But he said that if I was getting rhinoplasty anyway, shouldn't I get it done beautifully.. haha, so I suddenly got more ambitious. He kept asking for my opinion while designing my nose, and I think I had the surgery done well, with the shape I wanted reflected as much as possible throughout that process. It has already been almost five months since the surgery, and when I look at my nose now, I think I really would have regretted it if I had just corrected the crookedness without wanting anything more haha. It looks this pretty T_T I feel so grateful to the doctor for making my nose so beautiful~!!

I used to get nose filler and lifting together, but later it ended up spreading. Considering the cost, it would be better to save that money and put it toward nose surgery.

I was in the U.S. and came to Korea to get rhinoplasty. I learned about TS through a relative’s recommendation, had a good consultation, and went ahead with the surgery. I had the surgery with Director Yeo Hyeon-dong, and he made my nose look beautiful. The director said I had a bulbous nose, and that the indentation in the middle of my nasal bridge was what made my nose look unattractive from the side. He asked about my preferences, and I told him I didn’t want an overly dramatic nose that looked artificial. The director said he would make it naturally glamorous for me (naturalness + glamour). Since my relative said it was a clinic that did noses well, I had the surgery without much hesitation after the consultation. I stayed in Korea throughout the recovery period, and once the swelling went down, my nose really went from looking wide to slim, so I felt I had made the right choice. When I zoom in on my face in photos, my nose looks so pretty that it doesn’t even feel like my own. For a while, I think I kept zooming in on just my nose over and over. If I could give it a score, I’d like to give it a perfect 10 out of 10.

The discomfort was manageable enough that I could go about my daily life after about two days, which was nice. Now my nose looks natural too, so I'm satisfied.

I’d always wanted to get a nose job because my nose looked puffy. I looked into several clinics, and among them, TS seemed to suit my style best, so I decided to have the surgery there. I didn’t want an overly dramatic-looking nose; I wanted a natural yet refined straight-bridge nose. I even brought celebrity photos to show them and clearly communicated that I wanted the result to look as much like that as possible. The doctor was kind, and first showed me several different lines that would suit my nose. They also made it clear that they were trying to reflect the look I wanted as much as possible. That’s why, even after having the surgery, I feel like I ended up with a nose that is exactly to my liking. I think it’s thanks to the doctor checking everything so carefully. With just this one change to my nose, it feels like both my overall impression and face shape have become much prettier, so I’m happy. I had been debating whether to get rhinoplasty, but all I did was delay it.
